ANTIGONE

Poster Vitalia Samuilova

A visual theatre production by the students of the Puppetry Specialization of the Performing Arts Department of the Turku Arts Academy, inspired by the play by Jean Anouilh. Five Antigones, vis-a-vis a puppet, explore the key relationships of the heroin’s life. They say life is all about choices. But if you have no choice? What if your only choice is to be yourself? And to be yourself you must die. What’s life supposed to be about then?

Lucile Bodson // Manip 26 Avril Mai Juin 2011, P.6
